SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023: Good news for the youth who dream of getting a job in a government bank. State Bank of India i.e. SBI bank has released an advertisement for the recruitment of more than 8 thousand Junior Associate (Clerk) posts. The application process for these posts is starting from November 17, 2023. Candidates have to visit the official website of State Bank to apply.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 Official Updates

SBI has released a notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of Junior Associate Posts in Clerical Cadre. A total of 8238 posts are available, out of which 3515 officers will be recruited for General posts, 1284 for SC posts, 748 for ST posts, 1919 for OBC posts and 817 for EWS posts.

SBI has to apply online for these posts. The online application period is starting from 17th November and the opportunity to apply will be till 7th December 2023. Candidates can apply for only one state. Also, you should have knowledge of the local language of that state.

Who can fill the form for SBI job?

Graduate pass candidates can apply for this SBI job recruitment. Also, students who are in their final year of college are also eligible to apply. Also candidates age should be 20 to 28 years. Relaxation in maximum age limit will also be given to reserved category candidates.

SBI Recruitment Selection Process

Under SBI Clerk Recruitment, candidates have to clear prelims and mains exam. Prelim exam will be of 100 marks. While the main exam will have 190 questions of 200 marks. An objective test of 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will be of 1 hour duration and will have 3 sections – English Language, Reasoning. Candidates who clear the prelims will be called for the mains exam. Successful candidates in mains will be called for interview. After this the final result will be declared.

SBI Recruitment Application Fee

Unreserved category candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 750 to apply. While candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and PWD categories are exempted from application fee. Candidates can deposit the fee online.
